The Triple Sec recipe dates back to the early 19th century and has been copied and altered ever since. De Kuyper also took a shot at the infamous cocktail seasoning, pronouncing the citrus and prolonging the taste. By distilling the dried peels of sweet and bitter oranges, and mixing the two flavours meticulously together, they came up with this one of a kind liqueur.

De Kuyper originated in 1695 in Rotterdam, Netherlands and has developed over three centuries into a global player in the area of Liqueurs and Advocaat.

Brilliant, limpid, fluid robe. Complex nose of mountain plants which have been rubbed to release their aromas, camphor then citrus. Very pale crystalline robe, tinged with gold. Generous, full, intense nose of citrus peel, underscored by menthol and balsamic notes. Aromas of mountain plants linger on the finish. Velvety texture with harmonious aromas of almond and fruit pit. Slightly bitter citrus base underlies and balances this elegant, lively vermouth with subtle persistence.

Brilliant amber robe with glints of copper. Very pleasant nose of fruit compote, prune and walnut, with a slightly grassy note tempered by the spicy notes of cinnamon, vanilla and Szechwan pepper. A subtle base of bitterness underlies this very rich bouquet. On the palate - complex aromas of almond and fruit pit, citrus, pear and cinnamon, with notes of spice cake and tobacco, then violet, oregano and hyssop.

Drambuie is a honey and herb flavoured golden scotch whisky liqueur made from aged malt whisky, heather honey and a secret blend of herbs and spices. The flavour suggests saffron, honey, anise, nutmeg and an herbal earthiness.

Frangelico tantalises the senses with a rich hazelnut flavour that comes from the tonda gentile hazelnuts of Southern Piedmont. They are bigger, plumper and more uniform. Perfect for toasting and without a bitter taste, giving Frangelico its surprising golden sweetness.

Galliano Amaretto is a rich and especially well-balanced. The bitter almond flavour is obtained by mixing the pure essence of bitter almonds with essential oils of geranium, rose and orris. Besides the familiar marzipan and bitter almond flavour, it contains hints of roasted cacao beans and Madagascar vanilla. The subtle note of sweet and sour cherries comes from the flesh and stones of the fruit. The distillate is left to age for a few weeks to develop the sweet, caramel and bitter aromas, which results in the unique feature of Galliano Amaretto.

Galliano Sambuca Black is a deep 'Liquore alla Sambuca'. The delicate liqueur gets its colour from blending the original recipe with elderberries, turning the Sambuca liqueur a deep blue almost inky black shade. Quite unusual. The signature aniseed aroma and lingering essential oils, are accompanied by an intense and spicy berry finish. A delicate charmer.

Arturo Vaccari captured the spirit of Italy with a perfectly balanced blend of Mediterranean and exotic botanicals, all sourced and blended in their natural form. These include juniper berries, caraway seed cloves, cardamon, sandalwood, star anise, cinnamon, sage, thyme, mint, lavender and Madagascar vanilla. The intricacy of the final recipe of Galliano L'Authentico remains a guarded secret to this day.

Galliano Ristretto is not like any coffee liqueur, but is a unique espresso liqueur with a more concentrated palate.
